Here is a Q & A for the league this year we’ll pass along more information as we get it…
Q – When will the money be due (Season & Insurance fees)?
A – Cost is $450.00 per player for 30 season games. Playoffs are up and above that and you only pay for the games you play. Full amount is due on October 3rd. Insurance is $20 per player and is due shortly after that but is included in the price.
Q – When will the schedule be released?
A – Your team will only be put on the schedule once full payment is recieved. You will get it approximately around the 15th to the 20th of October.
Q – How many teams are in the B Division?
A – There are 10 teams.
Q – When is the final roster due?
A – You will be required to provide a full roster very soon, however you have untill November 21st to make changes. After that date no changes will be accepted.
Q- What is the maximum number of players including spares on the roster, do spare goalies need to be added to this list?
A- Each team can sign up 21 players including their goalies. Spare goalies do not have to be part of this list, however they must pay for the insurance to be able to play any games.
Q – What is the game format (# of periods and length of periods) this season?
A- Games are 2 stopped time periods. Some rinks only allow us 50 minutes for a game, so those games are 2 – 15 minute stopped time games, and if we have the full hour, there is 16 minute periods.
Q – Will there be cross-over between division?
A – No, under no circumstances will this happen.
Q – What rinks will be used?
A – All Dieppe, Moncton, and J Louis Levesque.
Q – What is the playoff format?
A – Top 8 teams will make the play offs & 2 will not make it.
- 1st round –
1st plays 8th
2nd plays 7th
3rd plays 6th
4th plays 5th
Then it goes semi finals and on to finals.
- Please note, players can play on more than one division, but may not play on two teams in the same division. *
